Maple Syrup Glazed Salmon

Maple Syrup Glazed Salmon

This recipe is a simple yet delicious way to incorporate maple syrup into a savory dish. The sweetness of the maple syrup pairs perfectly with the richness of the salmon, and the glaze adds a lovely caramelized finish to the fillets.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the maple syrup mixture over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and brush another layer of the maple syrup mixture over the fillets.
  6. Return the salmon to the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes or until the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
  7. Serve the salmon hot with lemon wedges (optional) and enjoy!
